About Me

I'm a Louisiana native who has written internet short stories since 2009. In 2011, I published my first novel which began my odyssey into the literary world. 

My novels are full of drama, romance, and unbelievable twists that engage all five of your senses - they're just that potent. As one reader puts it, my books are like an "erotic journey" that you want to "savor in delicious, little bites." I want readers to be able to live vicariously through my work and experience their deepest, most private fantasies while sitting on the edge of your seat anticipating what will happen next.

Other than reading and writing, I'm a huge movie buff and love different types of music. Although I write spicy romance with a dramatic kick, I AM a bit of an introvert who prefers to fly under the radar. I'm a country girl who enjoys being outdoors and I LOVE animals. I have two fur babies who are just like my children, a miniature schnauzer and a Pomeranian. I currently foster a slew of black stray cats whenever they deem me worthy to stop by for a meal.

 I’ve always loved to read. My favorite place as a child was the library. It still is. Because of my love of reading and writing in school, (English was a fav subject), I guess I had all of these stories stored up in my head ready to be written. 

One day, I decided to post a story on an online site. It never occurred to me that anyone would like it, but I got a great response and request for more, so  I continued posting stories for two years. I gained quite a following and loads of encouragement.  And that's how my journey began.

It’s always been said to write the types of books you like to read. I was a big Harlequin Romance reader back in the day. I LOVED romance and happily ever after. Then I discovered books by iconic African American writers like Zane, Noire, Mary B. Monroe, Eric J. Dickey, Terry McMillan, and numerous others. All of these authors had different elements to their writing that influenced me, from erotica to street lit, to dramatic fiction. It’s what I like to read, so that’s what I started writing.
